  • What is an FAQ section?
    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about your business like "Where do you ship to?", "What are your opening hours?", or "How can I book a service?".
  • Location
    Victoria Park, PR8 1RX - home to Southport Flower Show Directions: Southport is close to the region’s motorway network with ample parking. The show is heavily signposted upon arrival into Southport. Note, please turn off your sat nav and follow the official AA signs. From the South: Take the M6 to exit 26, the M58 will take you to Ormskirk and then take the A570 to Southport. From the North: Follow the A59 from Preston, exit 31 if coming from the M6, and then follow the A565 to Southport. Public Transport: Regular trains, buses and coaches run from Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester. There is a shuttle bus available at a return cost.

  • Pass Out
    All attendees will be issued with a wristband. Please be aware if you lose your wristband you will need to pay again to enter the venue.
  • Children
    Children under 5 are admitted free with a paying adult.
  • Lost Children
    Please report to the band stand immediately and also telephone us immediately on 03337 722641 and we will contact security.
  • Carer’s Policy
    If you have a disability that necessitates a carer*, your carer will be welcomed free of charge on the day with the paying visitor who requires the carer. One carer only per paying visitor. Please note, they do not require a ticket. Carer’s concessions are exclusive to showground entry only and do not apply to hospitality. *Please note that ONE example of the following supporting documentation must be presented to staff upon entry to the show: Carers Allowance, Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment. Alternatively, a Nimbus/Access card showing the “+1” symbol will be accepted. Without documentation, carers will need to purchase a ticket on the gate. Disabled car parking is located within the Esplanade (Eco Centre) at a cost of £8 per car. Please note, you cannot prebook parking.
  • Can I Bring My Dog
    All dogs are welcome at the event but must be under control and kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up after them. Bins are located throughout the showground. Terms: Well trained and well behaved dogs are welcome at the show. We reserve the right to refuse permission on any grounds. A maximum of two dogs per booking will be welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead and must wear a collar at ALL times. Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their pets. Permission for any animal may be withdrawn at any time if the pet is a nuisance and if you are requested to do so by us the pet must be removed from the show ground immediately. Extender Leads Extender leads may be used as lead but not extended at the event. It is a hazard, they can become tangled and your dog needs to be under control. Dogs Direct UK invites all responsible dog owners to our events, this included dogs that are on the government exemption list. Dogs must follow all exemption rules and regulations whilst attending our events. Any owners found to not be following legislation rules will be asked to leave immediately.
  • Weather

  • First Aid
    First Aid is situated by the main office near the Esplanade entrance or gate 1. You can find this on the site map also.
  • Lost Property
    If you have lost property at the show please email info@dogsdirectuk.co.uk and telephone 03337 722641 If any credit/debit cards are handed in we will keep them for a week. After this time, they will be destroyed. Any items of clothing or jewellery will be kept for 3 months. After this time, we will donate them to charity.
  • Early Bird Ticket Price

  • Travel
    Train Train services run from various towns and cities into Southport. Northern Rail operates regular services to Southport from Manchester Airport, Manchester (Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria stations), Bolton and Wigan. Connecting services to / from the North East and Yorkshire are available at Manchester Piccadilly and from the North, Scotland and the South at Wigan. www.northernrailway.co.uk Merseyrail run fast and frequent services between Liverpool South Parkway (for Liverpool John Lennon Airport), Liverpool City Centre and Southport. Visitors from Wirral and Chester can also travel to Southport by train with Merseyrail. www.merseyrail.org Bus or Coach Bus - With a network of travel centres across Merseyside, Merseytravel operate a number of bus services to and from Southport. www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-west/ Coach - National Express coaches serve Southport from all major UK towns and cities making the town easily accessibly by coach. www.nationalexpress.com
  • Access
    Access & Disability Victoria Park has wide walkways and a level surface, providing excellent access to all parts of the event. As some parts of the event will be held on grass we cannot control the weather and this could affect some parts of the park making access difficult.
  • Toilets
    There are a large block of toilets including disabled toilets.
  • Parking
    There is available parking at the ECO centre on the Esplanades and also additional parking will be available on the Pleasure Land car parks.
  • Food and Drink
    We offer a wide variety of food at Dogs Direct Summer Festival in pleasant surroundings. We have a varied assortment of mobile catering units located around the showground with sufficient seating.
  • Babies
    Baby changing facilities will be available onsite.
  • Other Information
    General Information & Help Desk will be situated at the band stand.
